Jane Dix
I am a local artist who graduated from Bath Academy of Art in 1983. After a career in teaching I am now able to devote myself fully to my ceramics and printmaking.
I have recently become interested in the Raku firing process which I do outside in the Spring and Summer when the weather is good. I enjoy hand building my pots as well as throwing on my newly acquired potter’s wheel. I am interested in the beautiful glazes and reduction process that Raku facilitates.
When I’m not producing ceramics I like to create Lino prints inspired by nature.
