Alison ter Haar

Glass
My name is Alison ter Haar and I am a glass artist. My favourite method is to fuse glass: using different layers and heating them in a kiln where the glass melts together. I am fortunate to have a small kiln which allows me to fire my own pieces, However, I love to attend classes to keep in touch with fellow glass artists and to learn new skills from our great tutor. Working with glass is demanding, and I find that I can completely lose myself for hours when working on an intricate piece.
