My work is experimental, semi abstract and sometimes totally abstract. I use acrylic paints and inks plus mixed media. I especially love collage and playing with texture. I want the viewer to have their own experience of the painting. I sometimes add words or collage that may help with the meaning of the work. I like to discover images emerging from playing and experimenting. I have recently been working on a series of paintings trying to depict aspects of pollution especially in the oceans and rivers. Painting for me is like meditation and I get lost in time.
