I make individual pieces, mostly sculptural, using weaving techniques that do not require conventional looms, but I frequently use a Japanese braiding technique called "Kumihimo" . I use a variety of fibres for my work, especially coloured copper wire. I have made several pieces using vegetables. Because of the materials and technique used to make my pieces, the work is labour intensive and time consuming. Thus I only make few pieces each year. But I am never in a hurry.
