My abstract paintings can be intuitive, absorbing the atmosphere of the place. Particularly the organic shapes that appear in nature, textures and light as well as my emotive response to the landscape. My starting points can be sketches or photography and I develop these further so that the place, subject matter and moment in time are captured.
I also have a range of abstract embroidery, as well as blank art cards photographed from my paintings. Commissions welcome - please contact me if you would like something painted to order in a colour scheme of your choice. |
