Stone carving
I have a passion for crafts in many forms and working with my hands to make beautiful objects. After a taster workshop in stone masonry, I decided to take a three-year course and haven't looked back! I've honed my skills on more free-form carvings. I enjoy creating pieces inspired by natural forms; lots of curves and holes which add intrigue and lead the eye around and through the piece. For sculpture, I mainly work with local stone from the quarries around Bath, or Portland stone for more detailed work that requires a crisper edge.
