Pastels/Oil/Acrylic/Collage and Gouache

My work is drawing based, and mainly figurative. I do like to experiment with styles, painting media and textural effects, inspired by the artist John Piper, and Francis Howlett. Particularly love the Cornish artists, as well as Cornwall itself, so I have drawings of harbours and boats from visits to Padstow and Mevagissey. Holidays to France over the years have inspired other work , but the Somerset rural scene has its own beauty, and Bath, of course is a unique place to capture.( I particularly like its narrow lanes off Walcot; shabby but full of character)
