Photographic medium and large format film

I am, at heart an expressionist photographer, using DSLR with medium format colour, black and white and slide film. I continue to work with these different mediums through choice and can often be found using differing exposures to enhance or create images that are slightly distorted because of their technique. Using the water's landscape as a backdrop allows me to put my thoughts and feelings into a visual context. This is ever changing and representative of powerful emotional states that can seem overwhelming. Those emotions need to escape somehow, and it is through my photographic practice that I find the outlet for self-expression.
