Botanical paintings with emphasis on light and dark, giving  3-D effect.

My botanical paintings in watercolour show a depth of colour with a 3-D look, and an emphasis of light and dark. The subject can be an unusual plant or a leaf found when out walking. The Mendip Hills give a constant inspiration for botanical subjects, and the changing light and beautiful sunsets of the area give a glow which I try to recreate in my paintings.
