Wenda BartlettPrintmaker using a variety of processes, relief and intaglio
As a printmaker, I continually change and adapt processes to better depict movement and the dramatic in the natural world .I am a conservationist and have taken part in projects to raise public awareness in the coming extinction of the turtle dove and many British birds, and the hare, which is now endangered. Work varies from etching, lino and vinyl cuts to wood engraving , wood cuts and collagraphs .One of my first lino cuts showing movement was the leaping black cat and that has been used in several pieces of work since, many of a surrealistic nature .
